About A2BAY

A2BAY is not just another rap show, but rather the next step in the evolution of Hip Hop events. Rather than relying on promoters or so-called tastemakers to deem them worthy, A2BAY is fueled and funded by the artists themselves. B.A.S.E Inc Music, HeadNOKKA Media Group Inc., and RHHIB Enterprises lead this enterprising group that aims to create a pipeline between Atlanta and the Tampa Bay area.

A2BAY will connect these two Hip Hop hotbeds and shed light on the emerging talent these areas have to offer. It provides unencumbered space for fans throughout the Southeast, one of the most fertile Hip Hop regions, to gain greater access to the music powering this entrepreneurial movement. HOW IT ALL STARTED

A3C 2012 proved to be the year Tampa Bay would show out in record numbers to participate in the festivities, workshops and networking. In the midst of this networking, two Tampa area artists (Infinite Skillz and imagiin360) with ties to a few seasoned Atlanta artists (Joe Stu and Big Rec) chose to bring a brand together that would highlight both cities in showcases hosted in each respective city. What came out was the A2BAY brand fueled by the resources of their own personal brands, B.A.S.E Inc Music, HeadNOKKA Media Group Inc., and RHHIB Enterprises.

With the first series showcased first in Tampa Bay in January of 2013 followed by the Atlanta showcase in March of 2013. In its Atlanta premiere, the brand gained some recognition by A3C's website (click here) and launched plans for the second series quickly after.

HOW CAN I BE DOWN?

Soon A2BAY will be opening up slots for the 3rd series of the A2BAY series, and more information on additional cities will be made available as details are finalized. In the meantime, here's some ways you can be involved in the movement.
  1. SUPPORT THE SHOWS: Each show is put on by the collective team independently, and we rely on the support of ticket buyers, product sales and sponsorships. The first step to supporting this movement is getting people in the building, so being at the shows is a very good way to support our movement and get to know us personally.

  2. ARTIST SLOTS: Slots are limited as we try to maintain a decent amount of performances to not drag the night out. To be considered, you can contact us via the web and submit links to your material for consideration. There is currently no "cost" to get on the stage, but there is an expectation to partner with the team to get people in the building and product sold. Beyond that, this is the artists' opportunity to let his or her hustle shine.

  3. SPONSORSHIPS: Currently, we are taking on sponsors for the A2BAY experience. You can click here for more info regarding sponsorships if you want to have your brand showcased in our promotional material and more. Click the link for more details.
